do. glitter pin.

glitter seems to be all the rage right now and why not. so i delved into it a bit myself. a pin or brooch that the little gal and i can share.

tools = modge podge + wood/jewelry glue + glitter + wood rounds + painters tape + paint + paper plate.

hopefully the pictures tell the process story but a couple of tricks i learned along the way, 1] when taping off the wood round, an extra bit of tape on the back makes for the perfect grip for dipping the round in the glitter. 2] if you decide to paint smaller wood rounds for added depth & decor, simply stick the small wood round on the tape and hold onto the tape edge for an easy way of painting the round all at once without painting your fingers.

the pin added just the right amount of pizzazz to my somewhat plain duds and had me thinking of new years eve.
