Mom's Best Hot Product Night & The Children's Justice Center

It's always a pleasure to attend the Mom's Best Hot Product Night, not only because it's fun to review new products but most importantly, the cause that they support. We heard a really touching story shared by the Children's Justice Center which quickly put everything in perspective. The Children's Justice Center is a home away from home and a protection from abuse and neglect. While the Children's Justice Center does receive necessary government services, the center is largely run by volunteers. You must know that a lot of heart is put into this center when you realize the time and effort ordinary busy people are giving at their own expense. It quickly opens my own heart. The center also puts on a doll house festival each year. The night ended with an auction to raise money for the CJC and several of the doll houses were up for auction. They were masterful and beautiful.

I loved chatting with friends Bri from Collected, Stacy from Hart & Sew, Diana from Livy Love Designs, Liz from Cotton & Curls, and Danielle from My Sparkle. We all agreed that there must be more we can do.

I left that night with two products from Deuz, the tapikid playmat and the napkid. I've actually had my eye on the napkid for quite some time and was very happy to score it. The design is spot on, I love that it snaps around the neck, and who could resist the wording in various languages? As you can tell we're already wearing in the playmat. I love simple well designed pieces for children that jumpstart the imagination process. This mat offers a lot of potential in that area.

Thanks Mom's Best, it was a fabulous night.
Did I forget to mention the creme brulee? Oh yes, there was creme so- delicious brulee!
