A couple of months ago we began a series focusing on small shops who make or carry well designed, well made children's products that we love. Today we'd like to share the beautiful shop Lavender Avenue.
Jennifer makes lovely old fashioned nightwear out of 100% cotton and linen, which is soft to begin with, not to mention, gets softer with every wash. However, lets not forget the most important part, that the gowns are 100% twirl-able. My little girl loves dresses and skirts but if they don't have a decent twirling radius, they're no good! Her nightgown most definitely hit the twirling mark.
The gown we received is so well made, durable, beautiful, and classic. It can be difficult these days to find clothing let alone nightwear that isn't obnoxiously bright and loud. Children need calming and comfortable clothing especially for those quiet nighttime routines and Jennifer has nailed it. The gown is so beautiful I'd love to use it as an actual dress.
