If you follow our instagram [@twig_creative] account, you know that we recently welcomed a new little twiglet to our family! We are now a family of four with Steve being quite outnumbered. Outings as a family of four seem to be quite a bit easier than they did when we became a family of three. We're well seasoned now I guess, not so naive and scared as we were before.
You may also know by now our love of the canyon and well one of our first outings with our new little one was indeed to the mountains. We celebrated my birthday with a picnic at Silver Lake, a gorgeous spot that could have had our attention all day long.
While basking in the sunshine & mountain air, I kept thinking of one of my favorite quotes, "The most effective kind of education is that children should play amongst lovely things." -Plato
