recently an older woman asked me if i was a newlywed. i responded no...but then as i looked at her and realized that she could have been going on her 40th anniversary, i smiled and said, well i guess 4 years might be considered a newlywed. it's funny how the first couple of years feels so new but once you hit that over the 2 years mark, you don't feel so much like a newlywed anymore.
yesterday we celebrated our marriage of 4 years and we were happy to reminisce on our earlier days as well as the excitement of our current days. we had a lovely evening in the city and although we try not to pay attention to our phones when on a date, we were both snapping pictures in our eye catching environment.
